Hoffman’s Fine Cakes and Pastries is a high quality, scratch bakery that has been making wonderful products for over 35 years. Since moving from Kirkland to Redmond we have increased our sales dramatically and need to increase our staff in order to meet the demand! We are looking to add two full time cake decorators to our team. We offer competitive wages as well as amazing medical and dental benefits.
Position Mission: As a cake decorator with Hoffman’s,your priority is to create an amazing product that exceeds our customer’s expectations. This position is for someone who enjoys production caked decorating and being part of a fast-paced team. Position requires a candidate who is 100% reliable, responsible and dedicated.
Qualified applicants:
Have professional experience working in a commercial bakery environment and can stand for at least 6 hours at a time.
Can write on cakes in chocolate as well as buttercream, with beautiful flowing script lettering, as well as block and print.
Build several verities of American buttercream flowers, quickly and with consistency.
Attention to detail and artistic ability, is a must. Hoffman’s customers have come to expect detailed well-crafted decorations. We use Swiss buttercream, American buttercream as well as airbrush to bring a customer’s vision to fruition.
Artistic Ability, designing and executing elaborate designs requires an artistic eye
Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays,this is non-negotiable. Our decorators start at 5:00 am daily and work until all the cakes for production and orders are complete.
Can lift at least 50 lbs.
Reliable transportation is required.
