PRN Hospital Pharmacy Technician Position Available – This position will work on an as needed basis at Washington County Regional Medical Center. For the right candidate, additional opportunities for hours at multiple hospitals in the area may be available.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 weekdays available each week with a flexible schedule.
Job Description:
Assists the pharmacist in providing medication, drug information, and pharmaceutical services to patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital personnel. Receives and stores incoming deliveries of medication and supplies. Demonstrates an ability to calculate figures and amounts relating to dosage calculations when filling various prescriptions ranging from the newborn to the elderly populations. Maintains inventory of supplies in pharmacy and other departments and reorders them accordingly.
