Mainstreet Auto Repair is a family owned and operated Automotive and Diesel repair shop with DEALER LEVEL diagnostic equipment looking for experienced automotive and automotive diesel technicians. Experience in Duramax, Cummins (5.9L and 6.7L) and Ford diesel engines preferred, but not required. We are a close nit shop and work together for overall success of the team. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm. Every other Saturday from 9am to 4pm.
This is a flag rate(commission) position. All applicants expected to provide own tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Test-Drive Vehicles, Test Components and Systems, and Utilize Diagnostic Tools and Special Service Equipment To Diagnose and Repair Customer Vehicles
- Perform Work Specified On The Repair Order With Efficiency and In Accordance With shop policies and Procedures
- Communicate Directly With The shop foreman and service manager on needed repairs
- Providing As Accurate As Possible Estimates Of Time Needed to complete repairs
- Ensure Work Efficiency To Complete Customer Repairs In A Timely Manner
- Maintain The Work Area In A Clean And Orderly Condition and Follow Prescribed Safety Regulations
- Other Duties As Requested Or Assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior Automotive Experience Preferred
- Prior Cummins, Duramax and Ford diesel experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Excellent Communication skills
- Professional Work Ethic
- Self-Motivated
- Strong Teamwork Skills
- Ability To Work In A Fast Paced Environment
- Solid Work Ethic Around Attendance and Punctuality
- Complete A Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check
- This is a flag hour position and pay will be based on experience
