The Technician will follow well-defined instructions utilizing necessary skills to prepare and distribute medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Mastery and minimal direction needed to perform Pharmacy technician one and two duties. Perform home medication collections and reconciliation as per entity specific policy and procedures. Serve as a resource on drug distribution functions.
Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year. High School, Certificate of Attendance/Completion, GED, equivalent training or experience. Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License & Certified Pharmacy Tech required. Hospital experience preferred which may include internship hours.
