We are seeking a full-time housekeeping assistant to clean resident rooms and other interior and exterior facility areas under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. You will assist in maintaining a positive physical and psycho-social environment for the residents.

- Willingness to perform a variety of simple repetitive tasks, many of which will involve unpleasant conditions.
- Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a nursing facility.
- Organized and detailed in work performance.
- Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.
- Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
- Comply with the Residents’ Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.
- Perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below.
Sitting
1-2 hours per 8 hour work shift. Alternates frequently to walking.
Walking
5-7 hours per 8 hour work shift. Alternates frequently to standing and occasionally to sitting.
Standing
3-4 hours per 8 hour work shift. Alternating frequently to walking and occasionally to sitting.
