Position Overview:
Climate is helping the world’s farmers sustainably increase their farm productivity with digital tools. We collect and process vast amounts of agronomic data to deliver insights to farmers through a suite of software products that allows them to help produce enough food to feed the ever-growing population.
In this role, you will report directly into the Chief Product Officer and be responsible for defining our product strategy and roadmap. You will be responsible for driving market analysis and competitive analysis to support the efforts of product managers across different functional focus areas to help them build specific business cases.
What you will do:
- Lead the short-term and long-term product planning process
- Assess new opportunities, evaluate growth options, and identify bottlenecks
- Develop our quarterly update of the roadmap package
- Turn product strategy into cross-functionally aligned tactics to give clear direction to the organization
- Lead our Market Research & Competitive Intelligence functions, leveraging insights from the Commercial and Business Strategy organizations and integrating outputs into strategic recommendations that guide product decision-making & strategies
- Lead a small team of product managers focused on roadmap planning & market Intelligence
- Work with stakeholders across our Product org including UX, Bayer Crop Science, Business Strategy, Commercial, Marketing, Science, and Engineering teams to align on the product strategy and roadmap
- Closely partner with your Product Director peers in cross-functional areas to define overall product priorities and achieve alignment with Climate’s leadership team for maximizing value
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of product management experience
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing product management teams
- 3+ years of experience leading software application product development
- Prior experience driving product strategy, roadmap planning and market & competitive analysis
- Proven track record of leading teams to produce significant, measurable results
- Experience working hands-on with engineering teams to deliver new products and features in an agile development environment
- BS in a technical field or equivalent experience
- MBA

- Experience driving results in a matrixed environment
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and a variety of disciplines
