We are seeking a few qualified Registered Nurse or Licensed Nurse Practitioners to teach our CNA, MA, Phlebotomy, and EKG classes. As an Instructor, you must be able to provide your students with the necessary skills and knowledge necessary to obtain entry-level employment in their field of study and pass their state exam.
Health Professional Institute offers a multitude of classes in the health care field. HPI offers day and evening classes, so we are looking for instructors who can flex their schedules, or can commit to specific offered classes. While we are willing to train the right candidates, they must be able to get DOH certification to teach. Please call for further information.
Job Requirements
- Teaching experience with adult learners is preferred
- Must have active RN or LPN license
- High School Diploma or GED is a must. A college degree is preferred, but enthusiasm and a desire to teach is the most important requirement.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge in a professional setting.
- Must be able to interact with students from a wide array of backgrounds
- Must be able to work with little supervision while maintaining our professional standards
- Must have at least 2-4 years experience in the last 10 years in a skilled nursing facility or hospital
- Must have supervisory experience within your job description at either a skilled nursing facility or hospital
