Local – CDL – A – Hot Shot Truck Driver – 2 Nights out – No weekend Work

We are looking for a Class CDL – A driver to operate the following equipment:
Ram 3500 dually Pickup Truck with a 40’ gooseneck flatbed trailer.
We haul general freight, tractors, and equipment.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Properly securing load to trailer
- Complete Pre-and Post-trip safety inspections and submits reports indicating truck condition
- Familiar with and the ability to follow all DOT regulations as well as state and local regulations
- Follow company safety policies
- Keep vehicle clean and orderly
- Pick up and deliver material from approved vendors.
- Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations.
- Other tasks may be assigned.
- Must be reliable
- No Current DUI or DWI charges
- Ability to solve Problems
- Mechanically inclined is a plus
Requirements:
- Current CDL Class A License
- Current medical card
- 3 years Clean MVR
- TWIC Card or able to obtain within thirty days
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Schedule:
Monday through Friday (No weekends required)
Most loads originate out of Birmingham and return back to Birmingham
Occasional Overnight (Up to Two Days)
Hotel provided if overnight travel required
Weekly Pay $763 – $864
