Job Title: Best of Care Supervisory RN

**Experience in the Massachusetts Elder Services (ASAP) Home Care Industry is a plus!
**This position is non-clinical and does not involve skilled nursing.
**Flexible, per diem scheduling!
**This position does not involve skilled nursing or clinical care whatsoever.

Home Care Nurse Supervisors are required to perform client assessments and create care plans for both private pay and contract-referred home care clients.

Job Responsibilities:

–Home Health Aide Orientations: The RN is to visit with the client and home health aide on the first day of service to perform an introduction of the home health aide, patient and predetermined care plan.

–Home Health Aide Supervisions: At least once each 90 days, the RN must meet and perform a supervisory visit on each of Best of Care’s personal care staff.

–Client Supervisions: On specific cases, the RN must assess the client’s need as frequently as every 60 days to ensure that the client’s care plan is still relevant, appropriate, and accurate in accordance with the client’s changing needs.

–Initial Assessments: RN may be asked to perform an assessment of the client to create a care plan for the home health aide to follow. Assessments are required on all private pay clients.

–Skills Evaluations: Upon hire, or on an as-needed basis, the RN will observe and complete a “skills evaluation” of the newly hired staff to ensure aide competency and satisfy industry requirements.

Qualifications:

–Current, valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
–TB test with a negative result that is less than one (1) year old
–Evidence of a pre-placement physical exam that allows the RN to work without restrictions that is less than one (1) year old
