Seeking someone friendly, cheerful and enthusiastic for an ophthalmic technician/front desk position at our private optometry practice in Central Austin. Prior experience in optometry or ophthalmology highly preferred but would be willing to train the right candidate. The right candidate being someone extremely friendly, personable, motivated, a team player and a self starter with medical assisting experience.
The technician will be the doctors assistant and will aid with medical procedures for dry eye treatment and specialty lenses. We would like to find someone who is willing to learn and grow as we expand our medical offerings so this may involve some traveling for training courses.
