Helicopter Refueler and Fuel Truck Driver – ROTAK Helicopter Services – Anchorage, AK

Job Description:

ROTAK Helicopter Services is seeking a full-time Helicopter Refueler and Fuel Truck Driver to join our team and be a part of an exciting and rewarding work atmosphere. We are looking for applicants that have experience and a positive attitude.

This job requires the ability and willingness to work remotely throughout the United States and its Territories with rotational shifts that fall on days, nights, weekends, holidays and be on-call. Work schedule will be based on a 1 for 1 rotational schedule but may require some flexibility depending on contract requirements. For example, 14 days on duty with 14 days off.

Travel, housing and per diem allowances will be provided.

Pay is DOE.

General Qualifications/Requirements:

• Class A CDL with Tanker/Hazmat and Airbrake Endorsement
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• Knowledge of FMCSA driving requirements
• Previous Commercial Motor Vehicle driving experience
• Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English
• Must be capable of maintaining legible and accurate driver, vehicle and fueling records
• Must be capable of submitting daily records via email, mobile device applications and/or web interface
• Must be able to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision in a safe manner.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders
• Must be physically able to perform pre-trip and post trip vehicle inspections
• Must be able to work in inclement weather and remote locations

Preferred:

• Aircraft/Helicopter refueling experience is highly preferred
• Valid US Passport
• Heavy equipment maintenance and repair

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Commercial Motor Vehicles, such as Fuel Trucks, at/between job locations while adhering to DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Perform Refueling/Defueling in accordance with ROTAK and Federal policies and procedures
• Perform required vehicle and equipment inspections
• Perform fuel quality inspections
• Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition
• General support of helicopter operations
• Other duties as assigned
