Pasado’s Safe Haven is looking for a compassionate individual to fill the position of P/T licensed Veterinary Technician and be a part of our dedicated Spay/Neuter team in Monroe, WA. 1-2 Saturdays/month. The Vet Tech is responsible for providing high quality care for patients from in-take to discharge and supervising the daily activities of the Vet Assistant and volunteers.
Requirements:
– Education: Veterinary Technician license from accredited college/institute – licensed in the state of Washington.
– Requires limited driving. Must have a valid WA driver’s license and clean driving record.
– Experience: Must have proven track record with at least 1 year of experience in animal care or related field or 6 months of experience in high volume spay/neuter setting.
– Ability to lift 50lbs
– Attention to detail
– Love and compassion for all animals.
