Ambulance Customer Service Dispatcher (concord / pleasant hill / martinez)

Bay Medic Transportation is excited to announce that we are expanding rapidly and looking for talented, professional and enthusiastic team members,
Currently we are in need of Dispatchers and Dispatch/Communication supervisors.
Excellent customer service, communication, professionalism, the ability to multitask and learn quickly will be the top priorities for this position
• Excellent ability to communicate and work cohesively with Field personnel and Administration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, teams, managers, supervisors, and external customers.
• Must have computer competency including proficiency with and current Dispatch Software.
• Must have the ability to consistently deliver outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Highly dependable and ability to meet internal deadlines consistently.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
The primary job responsibility of the dispatcher is to receive, prioritize, coordinate and dispatch all levels of service and crews to all requests for transport in a swift and proper manner through the use of the Dispatch Software. Requests will be taken from hospitals, clinics, medical assistance companies or related entities. The dispatcher will then coordinate that transportation request and send the most appropriate unit based on unit availability, unit location, travel time etc….
He/she shall be responsible to operate tracking system, radio or cell phone communication equipment to monitor the status of field personnel and units. The dispatcher will perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by the Dispatch Supervisor.
Veterans, EMS and Medical field experience have the priority. If you have what it takes to do the job, WE WILL TRAIN YOU.
