Accountant – Epitec, Inc. – Wamego, KS

• This position will be responsible for inventory and non-inventory invoices.
• The position works very closely with other Accounts Payable group members as well as Purchasing and Receiving

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ACCOUNTANT:

• The typical day involves distributing invoices received from suppliers, reviewing invoices for accuracy, and matching invoices in our system.
• There are many opportunities for cross training and learning of a variety of tasks, including journal entries and month end reporting.

JOB EXPERIENCE FOR ACCOUNTANT:

• 1+ years accounting experience. 2 preferred
• Accounts payable experience, customer service experience, and computer skills.
• General computer and Microsoft products (excel, word, powerpoint)

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCOUNTANT:

• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, prioritize well, and complete a variety of tasks. Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. This position works closely with accounts payable group members as well as purchasing and receiving to resolve discrepancies on invoices.
