Provide CD assessments, individual, support groups, education groups, crisis services and relapse prevention. Provides treatment and case management services to clients who have a co-occurring disorder (mental health and chemical dependency diagnoses). Ensures a strong recovery, wellness and hopeful environment for SUD clients. Provides integrated care to meet the person’s individual needs. Assures quality treatment services are provided to clients that are in line with the program mission, goals and objectives. Works with program managers to assure quality clinical service and contract performance through direct clinical work. Adherence to current Valley Cities Counseling and Consultation standards and practices.

Essential Job Functions: (This is not the job description in its entirety)
• Work with Managers to implement evidence-based SUD practices.
• Provide appropriate assessment and referral of SUD Clients
• Must provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a Chemical Dependency Professional and a Mental Health Professional
• Be comfortable working with individuals who suffer from a Chemical dependency and Mental illness.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science
• CDP or CDPT Certification through Washington DOH with mental health experience
• For CDPT an Agency Affiliated Counselor registration is required within 1 week of hire
• Pass required background checks.
• Solid knowledge of the Recovery model.
