Education requirements

Graduate of approved nursing program.

Experience requirements

6-12 months of direct care nursing practice.

Qualifications

Valid Ohio Registed Nurse – RN, CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Communicate a sense of caring, concern, and dignity for residents.
Recognize the autonomy and dignity of all residents.
Understand how to place decision-making in the hands of residents.
Focus on providing high quality service.
Demonstrate excellent literacy and writing, documentation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
Make prompt and accurate judgments with regard to elder care and emergencies.
Work and communicate effectively within a team environment.
