Job Description –

Responsible for implementing non technical programming related to delegated nursing, activities of daily living, communication, social development, and leisure activities for all residents at any location assigned for adult individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

• Implement all individual programs for assigned residents which include, but not limited to:

1. Self help/daily living management (toileting, feeding, dressing, bathing, hygiene, personal care, laundry, and any other programs planned).

2. Perceptual development

3. Socialization/communication

4. Leisure activities

5. Physical development (fine and gross motor skills)

• Will be responsible for implementing medical procedures (pass meds, apply creams, inventory meds/medical supplies, and order if necessary) as directed by the physician, nurse, and through delegated nursing.
• Responsible for overall appearance of the home. Will be responsible to follow a daily household chore chart.
• Responsible for documentation of all programming schedules, staff notes, goals, incident reports, fire and severe weather drills, resident visitors, receipts for any resident spending, and any other documentation required by the Residential Director.
• Follow daily schedules including leisure time, programming schedules and tasks assigned to specific shifts. Conduct requested or planned activities and outing for residents.
• Will be responsible to plan menus, shop for groceries, record expenditures, prepare and serve diet appropriate meals.
• Manage, file, and deliver important documentation to the office in a timely manner.
• Report physical and verbal abuse to the Residential Director.
• Attend ISP meetings if required.
• Will work at any RGHI location when assigned by the Residential Director.
• Will perform any other job related duties when assigned by the Residential Director.

Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time

Starting Rate of Pay: $10.00 to $11.00/hour
