Senior Program Manager – Microsoft – Redmond, WA

In this role, you will own the Geneva Monitoring product strategy for health monitoring and auto-remediation experiences. Partnering closely with Engineering teams across Microsoft, you will co-develop experiences to understand the health of applications and services in addition to experiences for auto-remediation of alerts and issues, which will be used by engineers across Microsoft. Following our 1st party equals 3rd party principle, you will also light-up our highly scalable investments in Geneva Monitoring Health and auto-remediation as experiences within Azure Monitor, our external customer-facing monitoring service.

You must be able to obsess over your customers, dream big, hypothesize, experiment, and question everything while developing amazing experiences for 1st and 3rd party users. Using your well-honed PM skills, you will collect business requirements from customers, develop and own the planning of building the right experiences, and negotiate and partner with engineering and the design team to absolutely delight our customers. If you like telling great stories and showing off the product you’ve built, this is the place where you get to define the go to market strategy and execute it using your great communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 + years of experience in the software industry
  • B.S in Computer Science, MBA is desirable

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3+ years of product or program management experience
  • Have a creative and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a results-oriented, efficient environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation – to peers and executives)
  • Understanding of Enterprise scale technology and developing large scale out services.
  • Background in shipping secure, high quality software through all phases of the platform/service cycle in a high-volume or critical production service environment.
