If you are a compassionate, caring, Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and are looking for a truly rewarding position, we would like to talk with you. We an have an immediate opening for a CNA in the 77007 zip code. This position requires support 20-25 hours per week, ~4-5 hours per day.
This patient is very particular about who we send. She wants a CNA who comes in clean scrubs, must look professional, speaks English clearly (No accent as she is hard of hearing and she reads lips), She needs assistance for helping with meals, making the bed, light housekeeping items (Note: She has a housekeeper two times a week, . Most important help with bathing, her hair and getting up. Perhaps driving her places too as this patient is unable to drive.
The assignment is to provide assistance with general CNA functions.
The candidates MUST have:
1) Valid Texas CNA Certification
2) Texas Drivers License
3) Valid CPR Certification
4) TB Skin Test / Chest X-Ray (within the last 12 months)
5) Reliable transportation with valid insurance
The selected candidates MUST have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable health care experience, with at least one year in home health care as a CNA, working one on one with patients with memory loss diseases, along with a reliable mode of transportation, and not afraid to drive on freeways. All CNA’s MUST have a Blood Pressure Cuff, Stethoscope, and a gait belt, and be able to demonstrate how to use these basic tools during the first interview.
