Education (Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic Health System.)
Preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Pharmacy Technician Program, or currently enrolled.
Experience
Minimum Experience Required: 3 years’ of pharmacy tech experience or 5 years’ of Certified Medical Assistant work experience.
Preferred/Optional Experience: Motivational interviewing techniques and Retail Pharmacy experience.
Certifications/Licenses
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing:
Minimum Required: Certified pharmacy technician for Pharmacy Technicians or Certified Medical Assistant (CMS) certification awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant registration from the American Medical Technologist (AMT) for Medical Assistants within 6 months of hire.
