Come Work in the V.A. Today | Psychiatrist Locums Job in Louisiana
Details/Requirements:
*Need starts in December and is ongoing.
*Work will be performed on an acute psychiatric inpatient, sub-acute psychiatric inpatient unit, outpatient, telehealth and on call.
*When on call you will conduct doc-to-doc communication, accepting admissions for the acute psychiatric unit. You will need to be available after 4pm to Primary Care by phone or, if requested by provider, come to the VA facility and examine patient face to face. Extensive interaction with patients, staff, physicians, family members, and visitors is involved.
*Client will consider board eligible or board certified candidates.
*The age of patients treated and cared for is between 25-80 years of age.
*Need is for 40 hours a week, 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
*Any active unrestricted state license will be accepted.
