Twice Daily continues to rebuild our stores around the greater Middle Tennessee area, but we haven’t yet refreshed them all. Position Summary

As a Cashier – Guest Service Representative working at one of our “in transition” locations, you’ll build strong relationships by providing top-tier service that’ll keep our guests coming back. Although the sign out front doesn’t read Twice Daily, you’ll be expected to uphold the same high guest experience standards as if it did. The Guest Service Representative directly contributes to the welcoming and inclusive environment that helped our company receive recognition as the 2018 #8 Best Big Company to Work for in Nashville!

Your Day-to-day (other duties as assigned)

  • Complete guest fuel transactions while keeping a watchful eye on all fuel pumps.
  • Operate a cash register, scan items, complete guest transactions, and adequately handle many different forms of payment. Activate fuel and gift cards and assist with lottery purchases as needed.
  • Create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience by actively greeting all guests as they enter your store.
  • Stock merchandise, arrange shelves, manage store displays, check all expiration dates and inspect all items. Pull items that are damaged or expired, document and discard.
  • Prepare food and beverage items in a fast and friendly manner to exceed guest expectations.
  • Reports to work on time and ready to work for your scheduled shift.
  • Becomes a “subject matter expert” for your store’s promotions/offerings and provides ongoing feedback to your General Manager on guest concerns, compliments, and feedback.
  • Comply with federal and state laws by requesting photo identification from customers who are purchasing age-restricted materials including tobacco and/or alcohol.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Excellent interpersonal, guest service and oral communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and takes personal pride in all that you do.
  • Have sufficient visual ability to check identification and process credit cards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (carrying cases of milk, etc.), perform repeated bending, standing, reaching.
  • Excellent interpersonal, guest service and oral communication skills
  • Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings/nights and special events as needed.
  • Reads each situation and reacts productively to an ever-changing environment.
  • Multitasking expert – not overwhelmed handling many different duties at the same time.
  • Flexible and adaptable to a change.
